Privacy Notice
Crawley Makerspace is currently run by Huck Finne as a sole trader. This notice explains what we collect and why.
What we collect
- Pledges: your name, email, the membership you chose and whether you saved a card.
- Updates list: your email address.
- Messages and investment enquiries: what you send us, including any phone number.
- Accounts: your email address and when you last signed in. We use a cookie to keep you signed in.
Card details
Payments and saved cards are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe and never touch our servers. We only see which card brand and the last four digits.
Why we use it
To count and contact the people who want a makerspace in Crawley, to take membership payments once we open (only if you saved a card, and only after we email you first), to reply to your messages, and to send updates you asked for. We never sell your data.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to remove it, or until it's no longer needed for the purposes above.
Your rights
You can see your pledge, remove your saved card, stop updates or delete your account yourself from your account. You can also ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time — just contact us. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
